Tennis Express Warranty Information

A new racquet purchase includes a one-year manufacturer’s warranty, with replacements granted at the manufacturer’s discretion. Warranty replacements do not qualify for an additional warranty, as coverage applies only to the original purchase. 

Shipping & Return Labels 

Tennis Express is not responsible for return shipping on warranty or defect claims. However, you may print and use our $6.95 discounted return label, which will be deducted from the purchase price of the frame only. 

Return Labels

Yonex racquets must be strung with a two-piece stringing pattern to remain eligible for their 1-year limited warranty. 

Steps to Submit Your Racquet for Warranty Evaluation 

  1. Contact Tennis Express Warranty Department 
    Email warranty@tennisexpress.com with pictures of the claimed defect. Once confirmed, proceed to the next step.  
  2. Send your racquet into Tennis Express:  
    Tennis Express Attn: Warranty Department 10771 Westpark Drive Houston, TX 77042  
  3. Babolat, Volkl, and Head racquets must be sent to the manufacturer for evaluation before any replacement or credit can be issued. 
    (Current turnaround is about 3–5 weeks due to COVID-19 restrictions.)
     
  4. Replacement or Credit 
    If a replacement is available, Tennis Express will ship you a new racquet
    Otherwise, we will issue a warranty credit via email for the original purchase price of the frame only.  

Important: 
  • Racquets showing abuse or where the warranty claim is uncertain will be sent to the manufacturer for final evaluation. 
  • If the manufacturer denies your warranty claim, the racquet will be returned to you with their explanation. 
  • Denied warranty racquets will be treated as abandoned if unclaimed for 30 days and will be properly disposed of afterward. 

Tennis Express offers a one-time 6-Month Outsole Durability Guarantee on select shoes. If you wear through the outsole within 6 months of purchasing a qualifying shoe from Tennis Express, you may return them for a one-time replacement

  • Product descriptions for qualifying shoes will indicate they come with a "6-Month Outsole Warranty"  
  • This guarantee specifically covers the rubber outsole. To be eligible, shoes must be completely worn through the outsole and into the midsole or insole. 
  • Damage to the toe guard, upper, or other parts of the shoe does not qualify for a replacement. 

Online Warranty Claims: 

  1. Contact us to initiate the warranty claim. Email our Warranty Department (Warranty@TennisExpress.com) with pictures of the soles of the shoes and your order number. An initial assessment will be made based on the pictures. If the shoes appear to be eligible for the warranty claim, you will be prompted to return the shoes to us.  
  2. Return the eligible shoes to us. Customers are responsible for the shipping back to Tennis Express for all warranty claims. One of our prepaid FedEx Ground shipping labels may be used at a cost of $6.95, deducted from the warranty gift card amount. Please contact us for this return label to be emailed to you.  If you ship the shoes back on your own, please use this address:  Tennis Express Attn: Warranty Department 10771 Westpark Drive Houston, TX 77042  
  3. Receive warranty gift card. Once the product has been returned and the warranty claim has been fully approved, you will receive an email confirmation with the warranty gift card information. 

Return to Tennis Express 

For the following models, you can send these qualifying shoes directly to Tennis Express:

  • New Balance: Fresh Foam, Coco CG, FuelCell 996, 1006v1  
  • Fila: Mondo Forza, Axilus 2 Energized  
  • Lotto: Mirage 300 Speed  
  • Wilson: Rush Pro  
  • Asics: Gel-Resolution  
  • K-Swiss: Ultrashot  

If your original style is no longer available, we will contact you to select a replacement shoe of equal or lesser value within the same brand, or you can choose to receive a store credit. 

Submit Warranty Directly to Manufacturer 

The following brands require customers to submit the warranty claim directly to them, rather than sending shoes back to Tennis Express: 

  • Mizuno: Wave Exceed Tour  
  • Babolat: Propulse Fury  

In-Store Warranty Claims: 

You’re also welcome to bring your eligible shoes to our Houston store. Our team will process the claim on the spot, and once approved, you’ll receive a warranty gift card that can be used toward another pair of shoes.

Shoe Defects  

If you believe your product has a defect, please email our Warranty Department at Warranty@TennisExpress.com. Include your order number, a brief description of the issue, and pictures of the defect if possible. Wait for approval from our team before sending anything back—we’ll provide a prepaid return label once your claim is approved. 

Once we receive the item, we’ll inspect it to confirm any defect: 

  • If a new and unused product is found to be defective, you’ll receive an exact replacement or a warranty gift card
  • If a used product has a confirmed defect, we’ll handle it case by case based on the item and nature of the defect. 
  • Products worn down through normal use or misuse won’t be covered. 
  • If we can’t confirm a defect, the product will fall under our normal Return Policy

Bags are not guaranteed under any manufacturer's warranty. However, Tennis Express will still accept returns on defective items within 30 days after they were purchased.
